What baby seat for M Sports seats?

Congrats!! Me too - was wondering about isofix option - at least my coupe has to option to turn the passenger airbag off - some models dont have that meaning a rear facing baby seat would be a no no
We've just had our second.
We never bought a stand alone rear facing seat. We bought a pram with the interchangeable bits. We got the Concord Neo which comes with car seat, cradle thingy and a buggy type bit with one of those cosy toes covers. For babies first seat it's much easier to get one that you just clip onto a pram as trying to put a new born into a seat in a car isn't easy plus it's one less thing to buy/carry around with you.
All the kit we bought has lasted well and it has seen some serious abuse being pushed round a farm on a daily basis.
We didn't go for isofix as in the 2 years that we've had kids we've had 10 cars in the family and not all of them have had isofix. No worries with fitment in any car in terms of sports. That includes the seat being fitted in M sport seats and Audi buckets which are much narrower with larger bolsters than I've seen on any BMW.

Mrs likes the Maxi Cosi Pebble with the Family Fix Isofix base. The seat will fit on our pram. I'm not convinced the base will fit between the seat bolsters but I'm off to John Lewis tomorrow night to try one out. I remember the days of posting about modifying cars on car forums! 
We have a maxi cost seat for our 2 year old and it's been very good. He seems quite happy to go into it so that's as much as you can hope for.
Remember your seats are primarily designed for fat Americans and large German so are wider than you think. Could you also just use the seat without the isofix base in your car? The seat will be narrower than the base and when fitted properly with the belt they are still extremely safe.

Sorry to slightly hijack, but what model maxi-cosi for the older ages? We're looking at the maxi-cosi pebble for the younger age but adding the isofix bases as both our vehicles have it and no plans to change (mine at least). Looking at pram systems that are compatible with maxi-cosi so keen to stay in that brand.Mowflow said:
