While poking about the car I've found a few "spare" plugs/connectors and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on what they are for.
The first one is a bit of a concern. I noticed it while looking for a clip I dropped into the engine bay. Tried to get a pic showing it's location. It's sort of under the sound generator at the very bottom of the engine, it was just sitting on the heat shield at the bottom of the engine bay.

The second one is less of a concern as it looks like it's been taped up at the factory, more just curious about it really. It's located behind the air vent on the passenger side. The only thing I can think is that it's maybe something to do with the airbag deactivation switch as the key switch would be at this end of the dash.
