Bad luck man :thumbsdown: it happens to the best of us, although a pub wash up job at 16 isnt really on the same scale
 
Yeah it's crap! Mrs starts uni next week plus a little one to look after!!

Nope was in my probation period! All happened because I tried to help a collegue with a rude solicitor and I said something thinking the phone had been hung up!

Did it myself a few years ago...luckily was able to grovel my way out of it. Hope you get something lined up quickly :(

Sorry to hear this - been there many a time, just never been caught out. Hope it sorts out for you soon.
 
A German chum called a customer a "penner" (not sure of spelling) on a mail to a colleague and did a reply all instead of simple reply. Oops. Resulted in a lot of grovelling

She tells me it translates to "a Bum" or similar but fairly insulting in German
