Thought I might be interested in this (local to me) Z4 and then saw colour.

Amazed it was ever produced and I've never seen another like it.
Is it unique?

Hmmmm , it's questionable to say the least & not the most popular E89 colour for obvious reason  Orion silver I believe :?

I see the dealer has called it 'gold' which reminds me of old Cortinas and BMC cars.
Otherwise the spec and price etc seemed reasonable and I know the dealer.
Mr Wilks is quite correct in calling it Orion Silver. Ah well!.

Saw one that colour a few months ago at Cardonald College.
I have seen worse colours on cars, its really just another shade of silver to go with the other half dozen

I have one that colour and love it. It doesn't show up dirt like white, black, grey or yellow.
White for ambulances, black for hearses, grey if you want to disappear and yellow, well just to be different.
It changes colour depending on how the light catches it.
It was a launch colour, go look at the BMW videos.
Quite like blue, except stone chips show up grey undercoat.

I think that advert is a bit overpriced not having the iDrive.

It's actually Orion Silver - yes I know it looks slightly gold but that's the official name for the colour. I looked at a used one in this colour back in 2015, only because it had every possible option fitted. I thought it would look better in the metal but unfortunately not. I don't think I've ever seen another one

If I had another, would be red.
I have seen two other Orion silver, nice to be rare then.
Saw a Orange one in Skeggy, went right off it. Been Tangoed.

I had a Fiat in a colour like this back in the 80s - which was fine then as it was the decade taste forgot.

I can see why it is a rare colour now....

(With apologies to flybobbie).

I thought that was the 70's?!

Although not a colour I'd choose, I think with 19" black rims and maybe black mirror covers, grilles and facelift indicators, it may look OK, at least it has black leather, white or red would have been a disaster!

There was one parked in our village car park just this morning. My wife and I both spotted it amd said it must be an elderly owner to pick that colour with a beige interior.

IT'S BEIGE! Like old Allegro's and Rover 213's, it is a colour for old retired people who are happy to admit it is beige because it goes with their cap, jacket, trousers, carpet and wall paper. They have no pretensions. Only the arty marketing people come up with names like 'Gold Sunset' and 'Metallic Biscuit Oatmeal Mushroom'.

It's beige. Albeit metallic.

I quite like it.

There's one parked in a village local to me, saw it this morning in fact while I was out and about. Lady driver.

Quite striking but not really my cup of tea.

Chapeau, would that be Wombourne "pretend village" car park.
Well it was pensioner day by the folks I saw around :P

Yes,Orion Silver. Weirdly, bmw chose it as one of the colours for many of the release test/press cars in 2009, despite using the lovely Deep Sea Blue in thier tv ad.
