Whalen Shift Machine gearknob....

Here is mine just ordered couple of days ago, hopefully it will reach Turkey within a week :) 8)

Looks cool. I wonder why just changing the gear knob makes a difference in gear shifts. Sorry guys i'm very thick.

not as long so less action required to change gears. Also slightly heavier than standard requires less force :thumbsup:
 
As said above, it's quite a fair bit heavier than the OE gearknob and much shorter, it feels more directly connected to the shift mechanism and that's what improves the shift IMO. :driving:

As it's shorter it's also more comfortable to use as previously my wrist was at an upward angle with just my fingers on the gearknow, now, the knob sits comfortably in my palm as it's lower (oh, the potential for jokes is endless isn't it?!). :roll:

X2...Surprising what a difference the larger diameter ball and shorter height makes. I have a lightweight equivalent made from a snooker ball and still see a noticeable improvement. The WSM knobs shown are truely works of art. :thumbsup:
