+1 LOL. That was where their Chief Instructor track tested a bunch of classics during the Car is Reborn series when Mark Whatsisface rebuilt the Series 1 E-type.....I do believe one of the 10-12 he did was dry.....

The pic of the R8 is not great and it does look a bit washed out, In the flesh it was a darker red and we thought it looked nice, like I said the pic does not really do it justice.
The sun was shining all day but the wind blew all day and was quite chilly. But indeed a rarity for it not be Peeing it down.
a11y, you missed a good day, I got talking to Russell Milloy, XR2 racer, though they were not on the track that day they were there getting ready for the Sunday, Russell provided great entertainment the last time we were up, he is one mean racer and does not take prisoners on the track, He raced 3 times last time we were up and he got podium every time with one overall win..
All in all a good day out
