Well I tried it

For those us that where at HC this year they had a vendor that was selling Rim-Ice. They where giving samples away so I got one. The product is suppose to elimate brake dust. Well I put it on my wheels and I will say that it cleaned them very nicley and they were slicker than greesed owl S**t. After 240 miles I checked the rims and low and behold I had brakedust. I was glad I didn't buy any. But I will use to clean the wheels. I wil see what happens when power wash the wheels and see if that takes all the brake dust off or I have to still wash them.

Rim-ice noticed your orange grills and told itself that you don't care if your rims are dirty or not. Then again it may be for another rim you have?

I thought the guy said to clean your rims real god with soap and water before you applied Rim-Ice?

I saw a guy at HC08 using it to clean his rims and I asked him the same thing an he jumped my ass and told me it cleaned the rims as well!! Next time I'll mind my own business!! No I won't!!

You can use to clean the rims. I powered washed and clean them. Then put it on. Directions said for best results apply two coats so I did. I guess the only way to cure the brake dust is go with different brakes like Ducks says.
