What a car. :driving:

Yes, I'm still driving in normal mode until the engine runs in. (book says first 1200km for engine, 500km for brakes and clutch)
..but it still makes a mighty fine noise, and absolutely effortless on twisty A and B roads. Can't wait to get in sport mode and adaptive suspension kicking in. :cpilot:
I do like the adaptive steering (light on slow, stiff on fast) ..i know some don't like it.

but, it doesn't half get dirty quickly. Also how do people deal with flower petals sticking to panels/windows and getting in everywhere?

So, managed to do a quick detail, and here are some pics.

:hattip:
Hopefully when i get some stuff, i can do a proper detail.

Hope you had a fun weekend with your shinny new car, I'm sure that the grey shows slightly less dirt than the blue.

Gorgeous. And ignore the petals. They'll drive you insane so try to put them put of your mind. Here's to 1200km

BTW I like the fact you blanked out the numberplate on the first two pics.

I ordered an interior dusting brush from Elite Car care today, along with some more Poorboys Natural, will do a great job of the inside looking like new...

What Detailer are you using? Car looks superb by the way......

I am just using the BMW stuff at present, which is better than I thought it would be.
I think the trick is to take photos in the right light so it looks more like real life, else the danger is photos can look washed out.
I have ordered some Meguirs shampoo and hyperwash to help with snowfoaming.
Am aiming for a mostly touchless wash (and patting dry) to avoid getting swirl marks....especially since I am in an area that is prone to pollen, ducks and dust ++.
Also werkstat acrylic to help protect and make the metal pop out as much.

I think I read on one forum that colours like blue, black and red can look great but get dirty quick, whilst grey looks good all the time but never great. I would officially like to disagree with that.

nice, those first 2 pics made me look twice lol, i thought these are crap pictures, then i read there were pics of the model

Really nice colour combo  The grey will hide dirt really well and the interior makes it look a million dollars :)
