Also, what size torque or allen key is needed to remove the caliper at the back? :-(

Cracker ... Dont panic.

I just got a reply back from MTEC regarding the directions of grooves and they state...

"There would be no right or wrong way to fit the discs. How we would recommend would be as attached."

So I according to the manufacturer its down to person preference.
 
That calliper just looks a mess, if your going to take the time to do a job like that spend a little more and do it right.
