Wedding ring problem

Normally I take my wedding ring off when I play Footie as it has a tendency to go flying off my finger especially if I'm in Goal.

Anyway, I got back in my car after footie finished and whilst attempting to put the ring back on, I managed to let it slip from my fingers and down the left side of the driver's seat and now, you guessed it, I can't find it.

I've moved the seat backwards, forwards, etc. etc. to no avail.

It looks like I'll have to take seat off... How easy/hard is this to do?
 
Not too hard. Battery disconnect, 4 bolts then lift out.

Position the seat in the centre and upright before you disconnect battery

Edit - Wedding ring topic "M Specific"....? :tumbleweed:
 
It's leading up to the 'M for sale due to divorce' thread after he tries to sell that dodgy excuse to the Mrs!?!

First error - moved seats. If it was / is in the rails, it will be pulped now.
 
Funnily enough, the wife leaves her ring lying around everywhere and now it's me who's gone and "lost" it!

Ok so 4 bolts sounds not too hard.

Let's hope the ring isn't damaged.... Otherwise it's jewellers repair shop time!

Haha. When I look back on how much it cost for us to get married then I'd agree with you but then again... You don't think with your head when you get married. Do you? :)
 
You could accelerate hard then brake hard suddenly and see if its propelled forward? I think this was suggested by Chawenhalo when I lost a lipstick under the seat. Wasn't the method I chose in the end but just a suggestion!

Don't worry I do that anyway and still nada ;)

Now tell me about this lipstick retrieval method? Could be useful for the future :)
 
watch out for the interior as you lift the seat in and out. 4 bolts and the electrical connector beneath the seat.
 
Got it!! All that was needed was this...

...and some elbow grease. Along with various crumbs, crisps and god knows what else, my wedding ring came out. :)

Divorce now unlikely.
