Weather car cover

Hi guys

My Z4 is basically a weekend/dry roads car. My garage is full of fishing gear, and as much petrol powered gardening kit I can get my hands on 🤣.......and of course a large selection of car cleaning products etc. 👍🏼
Anyway, the Z4 is gonna be out in the cold indefinitely, and I was wondering if anyone had knowledge of, or experience with a proper quality fitted car cover?
I'm kinda thinking it might be better for the paintwork for the car to just be left uncovered, but I was wondering about snow and frost protection for the roof.

Any thoughts and comments appreciated 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It’s been beaten to death on both the E85 and E89 forums…

Two school of thoughts…one say that the faff of having to have a spotlessly clean car prior to fitting the cover to avoid scratching is an onerous burden..another is that a well fitted cover with the proviso of clean car is with it especially if the car is infrequently used…

I have a quality cover for my E89 which I’ve used for over 4 years..it’s great..we are 600ft in the hills and it does a great job of protecting the car against pollution, birds, snow, sun etc etc..

Of course a decent garage would be better but that’s not always an option..

+1 on a car cover. I have a stormguard on my E89 which sits out all year well worth the money for the quality it provides.

I have the following half cover to protect my roof. Good quality and i am happy with it.
