Hi all, don't know if anyone uses we buy any car to see how much your Zed is worth but mine has gone up 3 times in 2 weeks. Keep getting an email saying my price has gone up and goes up £100 ish each time Must be because spring is on its way. Never had a car gain in value ever.

What did they offer ?- they offered £5k for my 2004 3.0SE a couple of weeks ago - not selling but always interested in what the going rate is - as mine is all original ,good spec and very low mileage ( 29600 ) it's got to be worth a lot more. Having said all this WBAC is a great way to sell a car - no hassle and cash in hand.

This is normal for WBAC. Their initial offer gets increased via email over the next few days/weeks.

If you wait a few weeks WBAC will always add around £300 to their original quote.

and when you go to take it in they find every minor defect and drop the value stone chips etc

Their latest offer was £3950. My car is a 54 reg with 62000 on the clock and only some service history. My car is 3.0 SE auto with sat nav. I paid £4000 for it last June so very happy although I have heard that they do knock you down when there. Not selling yet anyway.

Yes they screw you when you get their using all sorts of tricks including micron meters for paint and the like and you cant have any minor marks on a car, even a high mileage 10+ year old car etc. Plus the staff know nothing about cars and seem to be reading off a script. Went once with a friend who walked away when they tried to screw him. What ever happened to fair wear and tear!

As for values Glasses and CAP traditionally see values of convertibles rising so as well as WBAC sales tricks there will be a genuine rise after rise over the next 3-4 months on cabs
