Have used Finnegans wax oil many times over the years and i have to say i have not been to impressed, it always seems to dry out very quickly and needs reapplying, anyway i thought i would try another product and came across Anchor Wax made by Morris Oils, i used it on the Freelander 12 months ago, sprayed every inch under the car, all the suspension and steering parts , went underneath to check it and its still nice and sticky, water just runs straight off it or "beads", very impressed and definitely does not need re- doing.
Comes in a gallon can, i stood it in a bucket of hot water for 10 mins then poured ( very runny) into a plastic spray bottle, £1.50 from B&Q .
It covers a large area very quickly and goes tacky on contact so it does'nt drip, getting into all the nooks and crannies.
You dont need an air pressure gun to apply it as it goes on so easily with the plastic spray bottles.
Very impressed with this stuff and can highly recommend it.
