Water leaking near headlight

After buying my car last week I went to spray my washer jets but no water. I thought OK I will top it up (after initial issue of not knowing how to open bonnet lol). Well after working this out I filled it up with screen wash. Then went out shopping & then for lunch. Went out to the car that was parked on a incline. There was a stream of water heading away from car. I had a quick look and it was opposite side of car to washer bottle. I was bit worried but as coolant seemed OK. As the car wasn't over heating I drove home. Once home its pretty obvious by the bubbles it is screen wash. Then realised the car has headlights have washers too (I didn't know that). Is the leaking a common thing and is it likely to be a leak near the headlight or washer pump need replacing?
 
top up fluid than activate your headlight washers if none pop up and fluid comes out near the headlight than probably the pipe has come off the headlight washer , to fix this i think you have to take the bumper off and than push back on try the washers again before fitting the bumper back on fully ,you may have a blocked or faulty jet which has caused the pipe to be blown off because off pressure build up.
 
As jonny says it will be the pipe to the washer jet. Mine was split so had to buy a complete pipe kit from BMW. Contains all pipe sections from washer bottles to both headlight washer jets. Cost was around £20
