Watched 'Traffic Cops'. Naughty Z4.

I don't post here much but I thought I'd share... :)

I just watched this thing on BBC iPlayer called Traffic Cops: Cheating Death. There was an accident that involved a Honda Civic crashing into a house as the result of a suspected 'road race' with another car. Of course, the other car involved was non other than a black Z4 coupe. :roll:

Thanks to this idiot driver, the BMW brand and all their other 'safe' drivers/owners are the victims of a perpetuated stereotype. The driver in the Civic survived and both drivers got banned.

Kinda disappointing to see fellow Z drivers being silly. Oh well. Oh and I wonder if he was on the forum? Maybe he could defend himself...

I saw this but why did the Z driver get banned the civic was trying to keep up with him and lost it in a big way.
It’s a bit like the 100m if your chasing the guy in front trip and fall is that his fault? NO.
 
Just saw this too - I reckon the Z4 overtook the Civic - who then got pissed off and tried to race him.
 
Obviously, it was not me. Excuse my ignorance but they got banned from what? There are stupid drivers in every brand of cars, BMW included. The Z4 driver has no
excuses and on the top of that the Civic driver is a retard for trying to compare himself to a Z4. 8) :lol:
 
Banned from driving for 2 years, and has to do 100 hours of community service IIRC. The Civic driver got banned for 4 years and has to do 200 hours of community service.
 
The Z driver would have been better off nicking a car, write-off 1 or 2 police cars maybe hit a handful of other cars, drive on the pavements maybe just miss some kids and then he would have got 50 hours community service and a £25 fine and a 6 month ban and won’t have to pay for all the damage caused.

Banned? Banned? Really does that work? Here, people get drunk, get arrested for the 50th time, fined, go to jail over night, go to court, then the silly courts take away their license for life, (banned for life). That is funny; many times they drive away from the court house to get a drink. We have hundreds of thousands of drivers that have no license at all, never have had one. We have millions of illegal aliens, they drive and the majority do not have a license or insurance at all. Oh well we apparently don’t mind paying the way for this stupidity and even subscribe to political candidates who think it is just great. God help us. :x

How true makes me so mad when they ban somebody that has never held a license had insurance or tax like they are gonna give a s**t they are normally the sort of scum that do not give a toss about anyone they should take them out of society hard labour camps.

I live quite close to where this happened. There was quite a few items in the local news about it and witnesses did say the Z4 overtook the Civic quite normally at which point the Civic gave chase. Doesnt excuse them both being stupid thereafter but as it was reported here it was the Civic's attempt to get back at the Z4 that led to the crash.
 
I saw this on the news a while back, can't find it now though unfortunately. I did uncover this though, didn't do the average Z4 owner any favours either :D

A homeless woman posed as a lottery winner in a car showroom before pulling a replica gun on staff and demanding keys to a car.
Collette Cattee, 28, told a salesman at the Lind BMW dealership in Ber Street, Norwich, that she had won the lottery and was interested in buying a silver Z4 convertible worth about £27,000.

Norwich Crown Court was told on Friday that when Cattee reached into her back-pack she produced a replica gun and threatened salesman Elton Davies, telling him: "Give me the keys or I'll blow your brains out".
