Watch out for wasps in yer beer

Sitting down to dinner last night took a drink of beer and a wasp had crawled into bottle.
Stung me on inside of lip. :x
Hasty visit to A&E as I turned into the elephant man.
Steroids and heavy duty antihistamine tablets before swelling went down.
Still on antihistamines and face is swollen but lip slightly better :rofl:

I hate wasps!!

I've noticed they are starting to get grumpy now - nearly time they start dying off. Wasps are always drunk and angry this time of year. Hate them :x

Spent 8 hours in A&E last night, given a load of steroids and antihistamine to stop my throat closing witH the swelling.
Slightly better now!

Be careful driving. Same thing happening to me (coke can) the antihistamine tablets they gave me due to my whole face swelling up made me dozy.

... as for not seeing any wasps, had a bin full of bottles after my son's 18th party, took it down to the recycling bottle bank yesterday, there's definitely a load of them hanging around there!
