More….is more of the same :wink: It's a procedure with harder and lighter brake modulation… This was some hard braking.

The speed of the brake disc relative to the pad is greatest at perimeter of the disc so the outer edge always gets hottest. It's also furthest from the air entry into the disc.

That video is a great example of how performance pads can ruin your wheels. The red hot sparks do you lacquer no good at all!

It's true that after a couple of years there are small black spots inside my CSL rims. It's only visible when the wheels are just cleaned. My car is no show car or something that will win a best of "showroom shine" competition. I keep my Z4M nice and it gets a the love and care it needs
But I'm no detailing addict; my car is meant to be driven and after a couple of years the wheels don't look like new anymore. That's normal, but I don't care…and that's the downside of driving with this type of brake pads. But the breaking is really awesome :wink: Same story with stone chips, if you drive your car regularly then you will get them… You can always have your wheels and front bumper repainted when it's to much.
