staplesz4 - welcome to the forum. The guys will give you a hard time until you introduce yourself a little more, explain what you're up to with mods., trying to achieve, etc., then you will get more info than you can handle.

ha i know 0.5 diffrence and i bought a 2.5i for the 5 speed the dealer had no 3.0 in manual so i went wit the 2.5i hey i love the car i just want some minor mods for it... to make it have some more pick up and some sound and look, sayin i tinted the windows very light in from and decently dark inn rear tineted tailights out looks good wit the metallic strerling silver... and thank u for the welcome guys :D

In terms of performance few items off the 3.0 will help the 2.5.
You can update the front brakes from the 3.0 or even fronts off an e46 330. Exhaust and intake mods will make next to no difference. Aftermarket exhaust can make more noise, but little or no more performance.
Suspension is ///M on the 3 but an option on the 2,5 so you could change the springs, but better go aftermarket.

Exterior anything can be changed from wheels to lights, so just see what you fancy and swap it or mod it.

Run some searches on the forum - most ideas have been covered in detail at some point

Being a US spec model, it may have the sport package which included at the time the sport suspension, dynamic drive button, and 17' Turbine style 106 wheels. Unlike in the UK, the 3.0i in the US didn't come with the sport suspension as standard.

Of course - I stand corrected I was not paying attention to the market

It has the sport package suspension yes so I cab use the front brskes and rear. 2 maybe? And have the 17 tourbine 106 on it and wit the sport suspension should I bother touchin not even wit lowering springs?

Suspension mods can make a significant difference to the handling but if you do them in isolation thay can have a negative impact. Just lowering the car with springs is not the best mod if you retain stock shocks. The best i.m.o. is to go for a complete package with coilovers where the spring rate compliments the shock.
