It didn't stand up to too many jetwashes...

I wonder how much of a faff it would be to try and get it replaced? It supposedly has a 2yr warranty.
 
Just be careful how you word it over the phone tho-"I have broken my stubby!" may cause a few laughs on the other end of the phone! :)

IIRC BMW were replacing these ,design fault :? however the replacement is significantly more robust and is not likely to break
 
Exactly this happened to mine - thought it was kids until I read on here it had happened to loads of others. Technically covered by a 2 year guarantee, so you never know...
 
Just as well, it was far too long, looked like you were growing a whip... now you can replace it with a proper stubby :wink:
