Warning Light

Was interesting to see as my brake mileage had reached zero a day or two ago, the red car on ramp appeared today after touching the brakes and having closed the iDrive screen on the way home, during the rest of the journey it wouldn't reopen.
Was only when I got home and switched the ignition off and back on that it would pop up and operate.

Doesn't seem a good idea just because the car needs to be serviced to shut off the iDrive screen mid journey. I wanted to see what it said.

The idrive issue isn't normal. There's no reason to stop you opening it.
 
I get the jack under on yellow often after ive washed the wheels or the car has been parked for a couple of days but with only 13000 miles I can't think the pads are in trouble so I'm not rushing to enquire about it just yet .
