Hi All,

Looking to replace my 130i and get back into an M car. Would love another one of these and have contacted a few of you who have cars for sale. If you are selling / thinking of selling, please get in touch.

Preferences:
- FSH, ideally with all invoices, even better if its had annual oil service regardless of manufacturer schedule
- Preferably less than 60k miles and low owners
- Colours: not black (but i like Carbon)
- Not a big fan of Piano trim and i prefer a lairy interior but black leather won't necessarily put me off
- Happy with a few mods but i don't want a track car
- OEM CSLs a bonus if you have them

Cheers,
Jonathan

Very nice Dan, but main reason I haven't called is you are so far from me (London). If i don't find anything and have the time to travel that far, I will drop you a message

Ok....I'm sure it would be worth it though. I drove to Surrey to buy it...don't think I stopped smiling all the way home :driving:

Give me a shout if you don't find anything closer to home

Anyone else thinking of selling? Seems like there are a decent number of cars around but I would like to buy a forum car if possible

Thats some mark up on the Sytner one even with the 12 month warranty, don't think I could bring myself to pay that knowing how much it was up for 2 weeks ago privately.

Went and had a look at the CB one in Oxford.

Seems to me the ones well north of £20k have been around months.

As per my PM, I'm sure I'm going to sell now around March/April time now. Ive got my eye on a car which will be a private sale and the guy is looking to sell at the same time, so might try and make it work with him.

I will probably stick it on here, but might also see if any dealers will give me a price I'm happy with to make it quick and easy.

I will keep in touch with you mate

What did you think of the CB one near Oxford? Worth a look?

Hi Mate PM sent.

Quick bump. Still looking for an M Coupe. I had one a few years ago so know what I'm looking for and do not need finance / part ex or anything silly like that. Please get in contact if you are thinking of selling (before another one goes to the stealers)

Still looking in a market with plenty of choice :?
These cars rarely come for sale at the end of the road so you have to be prepared to travel
This must be worth the effort http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=81890

To be fair to the OP, most of the current crop of cars out there don't meet his requirements. Having just spent 3 months looking for one with virtually the same wish list I can say there are a lot of overpriced poorly repaired/serviced cars about with massively inflated price tags.

If you read through all posts on this thread the OP does say the car i linked is too far for him locationwise :?
Pointless bumping a search thread for prospective cars when its clear that distance is a issue

It looks a nice car, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't have the particular spec / mileage etc. that I would travel that far for. If it were SG / Imola, CSLs, low miles & owners with every stamp, invoice and intermediate oil changes etc., different story.

So you're finding a few of these have been repaired? and poorly? that's a real shame.

I know when I was looking for one it was hard to find cars that had been serviced bang on schedule, particularly lower mileage cars that hadn't covered much mileage but had gone longer than 2 years without a service a some point.

Keep searching though, I'm sure you'll both find good ones.

The whole service thing is an area of contention anyway, a lot of owners don't really understand the service schedule of the ///M's.

Biggest issue I had whilst looking around too.

In terms of the carbon black one in Oxford, I can't speak specifically, but assuming (from the pics) that it is being sold by Knights, Russell is a fantastic enthusiast in himself and really knows these cars and the S54 in particular.

He has purchased a few members cars in the past (including mine) has owned Z4Ms and currently owns an S54 MCoupe.
