Wanted z4m bypass exhaust pipes

Hi Jim,

I used this company to buy them: http://www.warren-engineering.co.uk/ it cost £38 for the pair delivered. The company that many used originally have said they are not interested in modifying and welding the boxes anymore, so I used a local company to me (Westbury, Wiltshire), Resolute Engineering (Tom) on 07738 834178. Tom charged me £75 cash, with very neat stainless welding.
The result is quieter than I imagined but it is noticeable, with no drone; for just over £100 all in it was worthwhile.

Regards, Dave

I've never been able to judge the sound on these. Presume it's due to low video quality. Shame, because for the price it sounds like it might be ideal.

Yes, I think it's unlikely a mic will be able to pick up much difference as in truth there isn't a great deal, certainly not with the roof up on my MR. There is a bit more rasp at lower speeds or revs and you notice it from a cold start. I have noticed that the volume improved a couple of days after fitting, which is a characteristic full stainless exhausts seem to have too, maybe a slight soot build up changes the sound? :)

Or get yourself some modified back boxes. About double the cost but leaves your original ones a standard.

Mine are going on in the spring after I've painted the body black and cleaned up the tips.
