He posted on the dutch z forum that he had a loom with a lot of other stuff for sale, but that was a year ago (but chances are he still has it; they're not in big demand...)

You might give these guys an email on their contact page. They do a lot of tinkering and retrofitting on bmw navigation. Maybe they have an old/used loom lying around:

I don't think the loom in the ebay auction in a navigation loom, but just the monitor loom (like the title says), what normally comes with the monitor if you buy that.
With this loom you won't be able to hook up the mk4 DVD unit, cause it doesn't have that connector for sure.
