WANTED Windscreen panel cover

The windscreen panel cover (black thing under the wipers) is ruined due to sunlight I would say.
Here is the Part number I think: 51717043619
 
Has is just faded, or is it warped / melted?!

If it's faded, then a rubber/vinyl based coating should restore it. There are various sprays here collectively known as "back to black" that do this; but not sure of their availability in Australia?

Failing this, I'd check to see if any breakers have the part - then unfortunately the stealers
 
I was after one as some of my clips snapped when cleaning wiper motor, the dealers wanted crazy money for one £130 odd £ from memory so maybe try and resore your own one.

Thanks guys, its fully cracked and chipped and makes the car look really bad. I see no other option but to replace :headbang: 130 pounds or so
 
I've just had one of these (51717043619) send to Australia, along with the black trim that goes around the top of the windscreen, and it all including shipping here cost about GBP125, so I suspect you can find it cheaper?

There is somewhere a how-to but I can't find it right now.
