Have to say this is NOT on - if he agreed to sell it to you at an agreed price he should honour it !
 
Agreed, but this isn't ebay and he isn't a shop so is under no obligation to honour it. Morally wrong, yes, but I guess he had a change of heart.

To be honest, it was too cheap anyway!
 
If he doesn't want to sell it he doesn't want to sell it. I thought there was one on here in Nov for £500?
Out of interest, how much would you expect to see one sell for? £1000?
The black one on ebay wont sell. Scratch on the front but other than that, he wants 500.

The whole car is only worth 3.5k! At least it was a couple of years ago....
 
what black 1 on ebay? im after a scratched 1 as mines alpine white so will need to be sprayed anyway so if i can get a scratched cheaper rather than a mint 1 and spray over a perfectly good paint job it makes sense :)

have found it now, scratches dont bother me providing the corner damage is repairable.

and yea that £775 is worded quite bluntly so no point me offending him by offering under his asking price haha
