WANTED: Roof/Rear Shelf Position Microswitch Module

Hi all,

Anyone have a spare roof/shelf position microswitch module?

Located in the boot, on the bulkhead to the cabin, middle, at the top. It stops your roof coming down, if the rear shelf thing is in the up position

Looks like this:

I actually only need the metal extension tab on the switch, but will take the whole module for simplicity!

A new microswitch 5 years ago was £18 from BMW, I guess £20-£25 now.

my micro switch was broke when i got mine last year, was about £12 with forum discount from memory

if yours comes like mine did, the metal mounting clip came fitted backwards (i guess to take up less room) and took me a little while to realize why it wouldn't fit...... you will understand when its in your hand and looking at it

Where from Jingle? I tried BMMINIParts, no response. What's the other favourite, Soapers ?

I used my local dealer and then just mentioned that another branch offered a forum discount of 10% and they were happy to match (I think the 10% is available to anybody but its down to there discretion as they didn't even question it and now I get 10% off everything whenever I facebook them for prices, try searching for your local dealership on facebook)
