Hi all,

After my recent purchase of some new wheels my bank balance has been decimated so I'm after some decent part worn tyres.

Looking for...

2x 255 35 19
2x 235 35 19.

What ya got? No run-flats please.

Cheers!

Shhuuuusssshh !

Don't worry i won't tell him our tyre mecca

Ooft!

There's nowhere near me that I can find apart of the odd indy selling some here and there.

Would rather buy from an actual user that can confirm the quality before I buy.

Worth using a a yardstick when comparing on part worns that a set of Kumho Le Sport 235 35 19 & 255 35 19 can be on your doorstep for around £345
By no means budget rubber & more than enough quality to keep majority of Zs on the road

or extra £85 ( £430 set) for Uniroyal RS3s

As lovely as that sounds I an absolutely BRASSIC at the moment. Looking to spend £250 max at this stage :(

I’ve got a pair of decent Michelin Super Sport 235/35/19 which just came off my car when I put on a full new set of PS4S this week. There’s plenty of tread on them but I’ll need to measure them properly. Also one has a professional puncture repair, nowhere near the sidewall. If you have any interest OP then let me know and I’ll get you tread depths.

It would depend on how much you're wanting for them really. I wasn't planning on planning repaired tyres but if they're particularly cheap I might consider running them for a while.

I'm just through in Edinburgh so could arrange collection probably

Tyres are as follows:

Repaired tyre from outside edge
5mm +
5mm+
4mm+
DOT 4811

Other tyre
5mm +
5mm +
5mm
DOT 1013
Small piece out of inner protective ridge, I’ll
post a photo of that and the puncture repair.

£100 for the pair and I’ll meet you at Harthill Services if you want to go for them. No issues if you aren’t interested, the puncture repair should cause no issues, it was repaired at Perfomance Tyres, Anniesland, Glasgow who know their stuff.

Thanks for the info. Leave it with me and I'll have a think.

Do you live near Anniesland? I'm from Bearsden and still have a load of family there.

Cheers,
Greg
