as above, currently in the process of sorting suspension out and like the idea of the H&R drop in height, Eibach no longer make springs for the 2.0 so im limited to standard M sport or H&R (FK are too much)

if i can get a set of H&Rs cheap enough off here 2nd hand(in good condition) then that price saving from new will allow me to spend more on some shocks as i would be looking at changing to Bilstein B8s to compensate the ride height drop.

bit of a long shot but worth a go

You can buy H&R for the M from ebay for around £130 and ECP for £150. So for your car I can only imagine they would be cheaper.

At that price you may be able to afford new?

cheapest ive found is £139.63 here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-R-Federn-Springs-Tuning-BMW-Z-4-Roadster-Coupe-E85-E86-29269-1-/361374888992?hash=item54239f3420:g:mTwAAOSwd0BV3tJi

but ive seen 2nd hand sets sell much cheaper on here, some only seen 1-2k miles, or some not even been fitted. (so could potentially save money just from this post)

i originally just wanted to buy 4 x suplex springs (M sport equivalents) and b4 fronts. but now the more i look into it the more id like to spend a bit extra to have the upgraded parts but cant justify paying for new which will work out a LOT more than originally intended

last bump before the weekend and ill just have to pay out for a brand new set if no luck.

also considering a set of coilovers if anybody happens to have a set kicking around for whatever reason..

thanks.

Will e46 coilovers fit? I am sure they would have the wrong spring rates. But i know of a set if some says they will work.

i think i may have read on here somewhere that they have shorter shocks but i could be wrong, i have literally read hundreds of threads and reviews etc on here trying to get this sorted so my memory of what has been said where is a little hazey

hopefully somebody can confirm this and at least then i can rule them out (or in)

last bump but looks like ill have to go all brand new (not a bad thing, but wanted to save a little money)
