Wanted - front brake caliper carrier

I'm looking for a front brake caliper carrier for a coupe so a 3.0 (325mm brakes). I managed to snap a guide bolt while trying to remove the caliper.

Any help much appreciated

I might have one in the workshop. But its off a 3.0l e85 not sure if it will fit.

But if i can find it your welcome to have it and try.

It will be a different carrier on a 3.0si - these are quite sought after but were also fitted to E46 330i/330d models IIRC - suggest checking realoem.

Yeah I've been looking on all the usual sites but no joy. Just been at a dealer who wants £172 for one.

Realoem says the same part is on an e85 between 10/04 and 08/08. So MM if you can find it I'll swap you for some cash

The 3.0si and 3.0i absolutely have different carriers, as the disk size is 25mm different. From what Im aware, all pre 2006 3.0s had 300mm front disks so you'll need a facelift part, or as mentioned it might be worth trying to source a part from an E46 330i/d instead as they're the same

I have a spare 3.0si Caliper and carrier, its a passenger side one I think but not sure if the carrier will fit both sides.

Pretty sure the carrier is the same both sides its just the caliper that is different

Click on the car model on the second link and it breaks down to the specific engine/trim models that use it, and you'll see it's 3.0si only, ie facelift 3.0

That was the drawings i was working from, never realised MM's wasn't an Si though.

All coupes are 3.0 Si models.... (non Ms of course!)
