Wanted: E85 Alarm indicator cover (clown nose)

Hello all, I realise this is a long shot, as the only way to get one from the dealer is to buy a complete rear view unit.

The part I am after is the red 'Clowns nose' cover. It's starting to bug me a little that I have an ugly LED bulb hanging out of the mirror. I am guessing a previous owner knocked it off and lost it somehow.

If no luck on here I'll have to go scrappy searching.

12 quid posted and you have a spare mirror for squeezing spots in etc
 
The E46 one is too big (and red!) the original E85 one I believe is grey and a bit smaller.

I was looking for one a while back and bought an E46 rear view mirror (which I almost destroyed trying to crack open!) I managed to half clip in the red clown nose onto my E85 mirror with a bit for force - it looks OK from a distance and does the job, but when looking closely you can tell it isn't fitting quite right.

Yeah I done the same myself you just have to modify one of the tabs its not too difficult

The z4 mirrors tend to fetch a good bit more on ebay so was just trying to save the op money as it's only a cover for an led under rear view mirror can't say it's made any difference to me it being red

Thanks :thumbsup: . Just orderd one off of eBay for £15. Hate little bits like that ruining an otherwise immaculate car :D

Appreciate the link, but went with the 1 series mirror in the end as I now know it to be the same. Only £15. :thumbsup:
