Sorry for the confusion. I bought the Stalk with the intention of retrofitting the item. I then spoke to a BMW specialist locally and he said he would do it for $700. He would only buy the complete kit. He could order the full kit including wiring for $325.00 from BMW Germany and the rest would be labour. I would also get warrantee so that was a good option (AUD$). So the Stalk I had bought to DIY became surplus. bought it for $125.00 sold it for 60 pound which worked out to $90 and the bank charged $15 fee for the OS exchange. So went backwards very quickly? You live and learn.

It's fiddly but there's no way I'd pay that much for such a simple job.
