Does anyone have a set of the black plastic inset roof covers that they do not use or want?
Fair price paid

Has any one got experience with these or want to sell some?

Have had them for two years now and would never go back. Takes a mere 5 seconds per side to install or remove once you get used to it. Although my roof is down almost 100% of the time my car is out. The car just looks more high-end with them on, no question about it. I've had several other Z owners comment when they see mine, say it just stands out so much better.

Had mine five years. If roof is down all day, I put them on. It takes 30 seconds from taking them out of their pouch, to installed. Car has cleaner lines.

You don't know what you have started :poke:

They are not worth the hassle

I like them. Cleaner lines aside I actually find they reduce wind noise (slightly), had them on most of the way around Europe  . I have a small piece of electrical tape that I put on the roof up button so I don't forget to take them off before putting the roof up! Should have taken them to Scotland really, but Nosa kept predicting rain

I have just bought some off ebay.
I want them mainly to make the inside of the cabin look a little more finished when the hardtop is on, also periodically for long runs.
Almost the same price as new from Sopers in the end, but thats ebay for you.

What was the Soper's price for these ? if you dont mind .. saw these on a few Z4s at Gaydon and really like the look.... much smarter with the roof down..

I remember an old DaveG estimate (in the early days of dealing with Sopers) of about £75 - that is what I was going from. I never actually called them for this.

My local dealer wants £80 for them
is that the tarpaulin one that only covers the convertible roof?if so,talk to Soper as I have asked Joe and he quoted me £63 (if I remember correctly).

No it is not the tarpaulin - it is the two plastic inserts to cover the gaps when the roof is down
Mind you a cabin only tarp could be useful in January
