WANTED: BMW Z4- £6,000 Budget - cash waiting

I admire your enterprise at chucking a cheeky offer up front, but it would be nice to hear a bit about your search, previous motors and thoughts on the Zed you are looking for. Most forum owners are pretty picky about their cars, a higher mileage 3.0 is doable at £6k but buying one of these on price alone would be a mistake, updating the servicing, a couple of tyres and sorting a few apparently minor niggles could easily set you back a grand or more, better to buy a sorted one at proper money or a 2.5

2.5's aren't too far away from the the 3.0. I gave a them all a run for their money on Sunday...
 
Keep looking and you will find one there have been a couple of good examples of 3.0 manuals with less than 70k and FSH up for less than 6000! I found a nice one for much less :D
 
I'm just after a decent 2.5-3.0 Z4 with FSH which has been looked after, thats why im on the forums! It seems very much like a buyers market at the minute so Im looking to see what people have to sell, could collect car tomorrow.
 
Trade analysis has average Z4 values up by 7.2% this month, by comparison the boxster is only seeing a 2% spring bounce, but you have to treat the figures with care, there will be variations depending on model and I can't see a petrol crisis helping, so yes it's a buyers market.
