Hi,
A little while back i was contemplating getting a roadster, so i joined the forum as one of my favourites is of course the Z4...
I ended up with an Audi TT... I didn't keep it for long as it had too many faults with it and wasn't all that practical.
Now i have a company car, i'm in the market for one again, but don't want to spend much to be honest... and i'm not in that much of a hurry, but if there's any going cheap this winter, it might be a little bit better time to buy ?
So i'm looking for a 2003/2004 model,
the 3.0l engine with preferably manual gear box, but i'm open minded to a well maintained auto or SMG...
with under or around 100k miles,
good all round condition,
service history to back up mileage and proof that she's been well maintained,
not very fussy on the colour, as long as it looks nice,
Don't mind if it's Cat D as long as it's straight and the car has been repaired to standard

If anyone has got one like that that they are intending on selling in the near future then don't hesitate to contact me.

For my budget, i don't want to spend anything over 4k really (maybe a little bit more if it's a very nice example)... I've seen some go on ebay for less than that, so i'm hoping i'll be lucky to find a nice one in my price range :D

Thanks for looking

Hi Olly

I may be forced to sell mine due to a change in personal circumstances but won't know 100% until next week. It would be a very reluctant sale having only owned it since October last year.

It's a 2003 3.0 manual in Maldives Blue with 94k. It has a few marks from when I got it on both the front and back bumpers but would not be too costly to have an Indy spray.

It's got the m sport suspension and the 10 speaker carva sound system which sounds superb. It has 6 speakers in the front and 2 at the back and 2 subs at the back along with the amp in the boot. I could send you the full spec as it can be found by entering the Vin into a website that I have and details all the optional extras it had when purchased

The previous owner lost the service book but I called the BMW service number at a cost of £1 a minute to verify it before I bought it and it has been through several bmw dealerships for services. It was HPI checked by me but would welcome any buyer to get this done too.

I got it serviced when I got it by an Indy I've used for over 15 years. It's only done around 1500 miles since it was serviced It's just had the vanos seals all done and a brand new DISA valve fitted and drives beautifully. The 108 style 18" wheels have all been sandblasted and powder coated by a guy on this forum called Mr Wilks and are brand new and spotless. They all have brand new tyres on that have only covered about 1000 miles.

I have the bills and service receipts to show all that I have spent and all the dates and bmw garages it has been serviced through but obviously don't have the service book.

It has a stubby aerial fitted and the Gaptech RCH+ module fitted which means it's a one touch operation to open and close the roof and it can be opened and closed by the remote too. This was a forum group buy.

The roof has all been cleaned and restored and looks superb. All the roof drains have been cleared and their is no issue with the roof as this still works smoothly and quickly. The wiper motor has been cleaned so the wipers park In the correct place now.

Their really is nothing to do other than enjoy it.

The car is due an MOT in April having passed the last one with no advisories. I will put 12 months MOT before I was to sell it.

I have not worked out a price yet until I know for definite that I have to sell it but with all the work I've done detailed above I'd be wanting closer to £5k. Yes their may be cheaper ones about but having done all of the above its not come cheap but as I intended to keep it for a few years I've spared no expense on it in the short time I've had it.

I can let you know next week what my situation is but at least it gives you something to think about
