Anyone know if the roadster roof up/ down buttons are sending low current signals to some electronic box somewhere or are they handling higher currents directly to the roof actuation motor / relay ?
 
Definitely an electronic box, nothing is simple and straight forward any more. It's below the left B pillar. The power relays are behind the fuse panel. Switches signal the box, and if sensors indicate properly, the box pulls the relays to power the motors.
