Hi...... I am after an approx 04 car with leather interior and original 18" wheels. Black or red leather. Silver or black paint but will consider other combinations. Must be good/original car for £4k to £6k. Low mileage.

Anything out there....... I am in north Cheshire

Think you'll need to raise your budget to the £6k+ end to get a decent 3.0 auto as you desire with low mileage. At the lower end it will likely be a real nail, high mile unloved example and cost you more in the long run.

Agree with the choice of an auto as it's sublime when linked to the 3.0

(Said as the owner of a decent 3.0 auto)

Apologies, didn't see the auto part as it was only in the header.
Also says that you're open to other combinations..

Consider my wrist well and truly slapped. GLWTS

Or you could find a higher mileage, well cared for example for decent money. I paid £5k for my 04 3.0i Auto with a few toys on it, it had 91k on the clock.

Mileage isn't everything, and in my case the highest mileage one I saw was the best one of the lot. Don't be blinkered by the numbers on the odometer, they mean nothing if the car hasn't been looked after properly.

Totally agree with this sentiment. Folks chase 'low miles' and it really doesn't matter on 10-12 year old cars. Condition is everything once you get past 5 or so years.

Mine's done 75k on an '03 and is way better than most on the road, including much newer examples.

By low mileage I was thinking of 70/80k. My highest mileage considered would be about 120k but I agree a well looked after car is what I am after. I presume a well looked after engine should do over 200k.

........still looking........no hurry......we would like to get a car by the spring.

120k is not 'low'. Most would call that 'high', but agree a 3.0 will eat 200k, even 300k

Buy now as prices of roadsters firm up, less for sale etc as soon as the first rays of sum. Right now they will be low with Xmas, rain & snow and not so appealing

I found a nice car. Black with red seats. 18" wheels......2005.......39k miles. A little over my £6k budget but worth it......I hope!

Thanks all for your help...

David

I have a black 3.0 auto with red leather interior, heated seats and what have you if you can't find one just hit 90k and 14k til next service with two new rear Bridgestone tyres
