you do know they are not straight swap? even a pre-facelift to facelift one, is not a simple swap?!

From what I had read I was of the understanding I needed,

2 x Xenon headlights
2 x Ballasts
2 x Igniters
2 x Xenon Bulbs
2 x Full beam bulbs
2 x Indicator bulbs
2 x level sensors
2 x level sensor plugs

There was a thread I read about it

and a light switch (LCM) without the manual level adjuster

There is not 'kit' per se available, just lots of bits to buy and fit

I've just done this on my 2004 e46 touring, and needed a few parts in addition to those listed above. I know it's not exactly the same, but they're very similar

I needed a complete wiring loom + some Y-splitters + the LCM recode.

As mentioned above really, Ive collected all the bits and bobs I need for a retro-fit took around 6-7 months of just waiting for bits to come up on ebay and breakers sites etc.. To be fair I have been in no big rush to gather the parts and thats seemed to save me one large cost. Goodluck with the search :)

Have you managed to fit it? Anything extra I need that isn't on the list?

No not yet my cars due a MOT and brake fluid change end of april so hopefully will get it sorted all at the same time! I did read a thread where someone collected all the bits and didnt realise they didnt have the wiring loom fitted to the car and then sold off the bits! Got mine checked out on its last Oil change
