Hi

Im after a Z4 roadster preferably:

3.0 (will consider 2.5 but nothing else)
Black (other colours if cheap!)
Red or black leather
MUST be manual!

My very max budget is 7K so obviously would have to be less than that!

I'm from Chesterfield, Derbyshire but will travel pretty much anywhere for the right car.

PM me

bola,

Hi, Have you looked at mine for sale on here?

Not far from you and the car is mint and in a very good colour with new hood in grey.

Yeah I have had a look on here, pistonheads, ebay and autotrader but none that stand out really just thought this thread may encourage a few new sellers :)

Leon- it looks nice mate just too many miles for me.

And Zenman I would rather hold out to get a black 3.0 I think cheers.

Any other offers?

I'm sure the other folks on here will advise 91k isn't a big deal matey - full BMW history with all common bits fixed it's bullet proof!!

One zed on the forum saw 230,000 miles.... and even then it was being crashed that put it off the road.

Mileage isn't a problem if looked after....

Low mileage can be a problem if not looked after :(

True but for 6800 there is a 2004 with 60k at a dealers down the road from me with full BMWSH. So rather hold out for low milage.

I am also looking to buy a Z4 of a similar age and spec indeed its one of the reasons I joined the forum were members I assume really care for their cars.
I am amazed by the way in which so many private sellers set their prices far in excess of what the authoritative price guides tell you is the max price for a private sale taking full account of mileage, spec and condition.
No wonder the vehicles sit there with no takers depreciating steadily.
No matter how emotionally attached we are to our cars when it comes to selling they are just a commodity with a market price like any other.
Roadsters that don't sell in this 3 month peak demand window will take a big value hit come mid year as the classic September glut approaches.

To be honest I think parkers price at £5400 is a joke! I think the quality of the build and the spec you get standard on a 3.0 should not warrant anything less than £7k! Some very poor examples are lower than mine which makes everyone put their prices low to compete! I know they are poor because I have phoned them!

You get what you pay for!
