Popped in very quickly yesterday as paranoia had kicked in and I was sure I could hear a rattle at around 2000 rpm that wasn't there before. Met the owner Andy who had no issue popping the bonnet and having a listen.
He then confirmed exactly what the Mrs had been telling me all along.............it's fine! Apart from a slight Vanos rattle, there was nothing to be alarmed about (The Mrs didn't pick up on the Vanos rattle, though, so she needs better training :poke: )

Mine is due for an Ins II next and at £450 which includes plugs from Walkers, it will be difficult to continue the main dealer service history the car currently has. I certainly got the impression that the car would be very well looked after at Walkers, probably better than the main dealer.
 
Ive heard good things about this place and they were very helpful answering qs's when i was looking for my M. I'll be taking it there soon for a Brake fluid and oil change later in the year :)
 
£450 must be inspection 1, had my inspection 2 done there recently alone with brake fluid at £700 which is pre increase price.

Would get my recommendation though.

Yep, my bad, typo'd. £450 was the Ins I not II
 
They get my vote as well. My Inspection 2 will be done there. Only just up the road from me which is a bonus.
