The must do road is Bethesda to Capel Curig, to Llanberis.
We found this road early one morning on the last day and it was fantastic.

Review my post from our trip. http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=86066

Do the Evo, but theres plenty of roads to do without going as far South as Bala.

llan is as good as anywhere to stop over its a nice little town with good pubs... road wise you've pretty much got it covered can't really tell from the pic if a run over Denbigh moor is included but its worthwhile... also its close to llyn brenig country park which is beautiful place to stop for lunch when the weather is nice

Not a bad route, but consider going south in the morning to avoid repeating the initial leg in the evening.

Also consider driving slightly further west so that you can come back down the twistier/more challenging Llanberis pass rather than the A5.

Did something similar on my bike a few years ago great roads
I think me and Mrs Owl will have to do this in the Z next year. Enjoy in the 3:0Si :driving:

The Corn Mill came up a while back on a tv show & always fancied the look of it hence the plan to stay over in Llangollen the Saturday plus leaves us a decent run home the Sunday
Will look at the Denbigh Moor .

That looks a good tip & detour mmm five , i'd go out all day but i'm trying to factor 2 hours / lunch break / 2 hours
don't want a cranky co pilot for Saturday night or worse still a penance of visiting Cheshire Oaks on the way home Sunday

Looks a great trip. Always try n factor a stop at the Ponderosa at the top of the horseshoe pass. Always a lot of bikers and 2 seaters up there and well worth a stop. I'm on ur way past on the trip down, if u fancy a wing man to take some motion shots, depending on ur date, me n the missus would be up for a blast into Welsh Wales haha

Yep, corn mill is nice... lovely views over the river and the food is usually pretty good... no car park tho unfortunately as its tucked away down a wee alley so you have to use a public one just up the road.. worth it tho

stumbled on the b4391 from Oswestry to Bala only last week. Fantastic road in places hugging cliff edges with super views. The A543 Denbigh moor road is best driven south and gives spectacular views across the Snowdon range.

I think the balloon festival is on in Llangollen next weekend. Can be very exciting but can also be a let down, depends on the weather.

Enjoy

The road from the old nuclear power station to Bala is one of the best/fastest bike routes in the country in my opinion. Id definitely include it. :)

Went on my own little version Wednesday 14th all on my own. Me and the Z as one, fantastic weather great roads. I went on a round trip from Cannock up the A5 to Betws-y-Coed chuck a left down to Blau Festinog (great road) on to Harlech where I had my lunch on the beach. After lunch down to Barmouth then superb run back over Dinas on to Welshpool and home. Spent a lot of time in my youth in Wales, love going back.

No pics :? porr show Paul :poke:
Really looking forward to it now , i had a 6 week stint a while back working in Aberystwyth & even in the van i enjoyed the drive after Oswestry
Struggling for decent accommodation in Llangollen for the Saturday night though so now considering staying over near or on Anglesey or possibly passing through Geddelbert & on to loop around the Llanberis pass then dropping back into Geddelbert to stay here http://www.saracens-head.co.uk/ :?

A friend of mine lives in Beddgelert used to own the PO. I have sunk a few in the goat

Saracen's Head Hotel booked for the Saturday night & routes sorted :driving: Llangollen will have to wait
Weather will no doubt be changeable but i'm hopeful over the 3 days that the roof will be down for the majority
