Vred Ultra Sessanta x 4 fitted

Had these fitted today, non runflats of course.

Only driven home on them, however it's immediately obvious that the ride is smoother and nowhere near as 'crashy', tramlining and fidgety steering has also disappeared.

Will be doing around 1000 miles next weekend, including some track stuff, will report back then.

Now have 2 bridgestones for sale, one RFT and one non RFT ( didn't know it was a non rft till taken off), an 050A and an 040 225/45/17, both with loads of tread. Gotta be worth £50 each, you sort courier. NOSA has first shout at these as promised.

Cheers

You'll like them ......... i love the feel of them always liked vreds. fitted sporttracs to the imprezza and they are great.

Thanks Lance for the shout  but I will have to let this go just now, Was hoping to be able to get hold of a couple but with just being made redundant and also thinking of going down the NON RFT road Then i will need to give this a miss just now.

You should have no prob shifting them though. Good luck

I've got Ultrac Seesantas too and in fact just ordered another set of 4. Prety good value for money if you ask me. They do need a few hundred miles to properly scrub in though and I've also found that i like their feel better with slightly higher air pressure than stock.

defo on scrubbing in.. almost lethal for the first few miles unless you encourage them a little. :driving:

Cracking tyres

I couldnt agree more...

I fitted my wheels a few weeks back and i thought they may have been over inflated as the grip was appaling (although still better then the runcraps they replaced).. and the TC light kept coming on.

However about 500 miles later they are amazing... and i have to push them pretty damn hard to get the tc warnings.

Over-inflated? Perfect description, that's exactly how they felt for 2-300 miles. Feel fine now.

These non RFTs make the car so much nicer to drive and the turn in even seems more precise. I really can't emphasise how much more stable the car is! No more fidgety steering nor any tram- lining, big plus is hard braking is also far more stable.

Ring trip coming up this weekend, including time on the GP circuit, will know more about grip then

Cheers

I considered the Vred Ultra Sessanta's when i had to replace my rears recently. They get good reviews so can't be a bad choice.

I went with the Falken FK542's which i was already running because i could vouch for their performance and they seem unbeatable for value.
