Was watching wheeler dealer the other day they had AC cobra it needed to get through an emission test. The tall chap rejetted the carburretor then took it to a place called Vortex exhausts where they fitted a brand new system with catalysts for £1250 I think. Wonder if anyone here has used them before.

Not sure about this brand but I had a full cat back miltek on a a Golf GTI...

It's was a really nice piece of kit, sounded great, cost me about 800 fitted...im pretty sure they are German made too..... Although could be wrong

Milltek are British.

I had one on my Corrado VR6 (fitted by AMD when they were a 2-man band - Geoff & Mike - in Oddington), but never actually managed to get it both sitting straight (oval tip) and clear of the rear axle - it would either hit the axle or have to be twisted slightly so that it didn't, which them meant the tip was not straight. Had about 3 attempts before I decided to live with it as it seems it was designed with a non-lowered car in mind.

That was about 10 years ago now though, so I assume they've perfected their techniques since

So they are... British that is....

Didn't have any issues myself, that was 5 years ago. Although a mate had his sport cat go pop after 3 years..... Not good.

The sound was a perfect mix of low grunt without the boom that you sometimes get..
