well ive finally booked the brunters vmax day, im hoping for the car to reach around 180mph, i will be putting the car up against pretty much everythink, their is another z4m coupe running as well, m5s,m6s, v8 m3s so its going to be a true test of what my car can do, i will have my other half filming all the runs, and im hoping to scalp some much more expensive machinary....... the day itself is in a couple of weeks time, i have to say im rather excited.
cant wait to do a few runs against the ferraris, particuarly the 360/430 and gallardos ect, it will be great to do some runs again a stock z4m right up till vmax to see how i fair, also i cant wait to run the v8 m3!!! i cant wait....... i just hope my car doesnt blow up!!!!!! freezing cold weather please!!

just out of intrest what have people had top end out of their z4m? since my limiter has been removed i have only clipped 150 once so looking forward to extending her right up to the ragged edge. im going to loose a good few of these battles but its going to be fun trying!!

I've ssen that video and it looks like it would be great fun. If only it weren't so expensive to have our limiters removed... How much is it to enter?

I had 159 (on the limiter) on the GPS in Germany last weekend. Was reading 165 on the dash.

Tried the myth of 5th gear too........just found indicated 160 before running out of revs.

Have to say, there felt like plenty more to go too, so would imagine you'll be limited by gearing rather than power.

I've sat at 170 (speedo indicated) lots of times in my stock Z4M which is a true 156 according to the wife's Garmin.

At 450 HP my M3 vert would just abou nudge past 180 on the speedo. At 600 HP I hit the rev limiter in 6th with the roof down, it was way past the 180 max but didn't hav the Garmin with me (I'd guess this was maybe a true 185-190).

I've been to one of the previous Vmaxs, I managed 162mph on the timing gear they use with the car showing 166-167mph. The distance to the timing gear is a few hundred meters to short for a standard Z4M to hit the limiter.
You will have a great day. :D
