Virginia Introduces $3550 Speeding Ticket

It's not for a simple speeding ticket the way I read the law but more for things like DUI and driving on a suspended license. Well...at least they are honest and admit the purpose is to provide revenue... :)

Don't change lanes without a turn signal and remove the fuzzy dice (or parking pass) from the mirror. Looks like Virginia has figured out a way to ticket just about anybody on the road today. Kinda scary, other state and local governments might decide that this is a good idea 👎
 
There's a few other states that have made this move already. Fortunately, we don't live in VA. Also if we visit, we'll only get fined the "regular" rate. It only applies to those that live in VA. On another note I heard the other states are passing the fines onto those that visit their state as well.
