when i sit in my drivers seat im drawn to look at the disgusting nasty drivers side wiper arm it sits far to far from the screen and has a stupid kink the passenger one aint much better.but at least its pretty straight, does this annoy anyone else or am i being very critical it looks like we have a set of wiper arms off crusty old 80's ford sierra is there anything we can do to make them look more sleek and in keeping with the car!!

Thanks professor takedown8!

I never notice my wipers when I'm driving. Too busy sending text messages and eating Big Macs.

I think this is the first criticism of the looks of the wiper arms, so I'm guessing no :D

Can't say I ever noticed anything wrong with them TBH :scratchhead:

i do think they could have made nore efffort with them, but I guess they are the way they are for a reason, one on old E46's are much better for example

At the same time? You are a man of many talents! :D

The Bosch Icon blade is what your looking for. Its very sleek, with a bracketless design. They have a very clean look. Or you could just remove them. :poke:

If you do change, don't go high speed and expect the wipers to perform up to par. Apparently, there is a reason behind the design of the device.

I don't have a problem with the design or performance of the wiper blade arms or rubbers - not something that I've really bothered to study in any detail. They do the job they're supposed to do, not sure how sexy you can make wiper blade arms.

No, but a sudden downpour could make your well over the speed limit drive, somewhat, ummmm, interesting.

Touche! :D

As far as the OEM wipers I had not a problem with them being in my view. However I have recently switched to the Bosch Icons, and that huge thinger that clips over the wiper arm is HUGE. It bugs me yet I have gotten used to it.
