For those interested, could this be the very best price out there on a set of these aftermarket Spyder headlamps?

These aren't spyder... They are cheap rip off

Well, that sounds like a pretty free and unfounded statement if i say so myself...

See the manufacturer and the part number code. If it was a spyder it would clearly say manufacturer: spyder part number: PRO-YD-BMZ***-HL-BK
Morevover do you see anywhere in the listing apart from the imported youtube video stating that these headlights are spyder? These are chinese made look-alikes that's why they are cheaper.

I honestly don't know that. Just to make clear i don't have any gain in any way to discredit the particular listing i am just saying my experience with the particular kind of product to help others make their own decision.
The pair i bought was made in taiwan. Before the buy i saw the lower priced ones and i had the same thoughts as anyone would. Why buy them for 580$ and not buy them for 300$ and save 280$.
I talked with a spyder representative and they told me that the ones they manufacture and sell on ebay clearly state that they are made from spyder and he gave me the item code type it should say.All other listings that have the same picture of the headlights are replicas made in China and don't have the same manufacturing standards and material quallity.
I have seen alot of aftermarket lights that you can clearly say when you see them in person that are replicas or low quality ones. I haven't seen the low cost ones but i have seen the ones i have and i can say without a doubt that they look like OEM both in material quality and manufacturing standards. The only way for someone to know if these are of the same quality is to buy them and let us know. I highly doubt it though. Cheers! :driving:

Seller just confirmed his are also made in Taiwan. He tells me that only one manufacturer actually makes those headlamps, which are simply sold under different brand names.

Perhaps it could be worth it for anyone in GB to contact that seller and find out if they also offer RHD at a fair price...:driving:
