vert hardtop combination

so having just agreed a purchase of a hardtop from z4kma many thanks Mike its got me thinking what would be the best colour combination of car and hardtop?

i will start it off estoril blue car with silver hard top.

Same colour as bodywork.
Never seen anything as good. Some just less contrived than others

Mind you I do like Marlon's red Zed with black wheels and hardtop - after all, the hoods are all black.

Can't really think of any other combinations that would work.

Marlon's red with black roof does look good. The current thread elsewhere of white with black roof is OK, but would look better with white roof.

For any other colours I can think of the the roof should be the same colour as the rest of the car.

I've got a body coloured one as seen in the profile pic to the left.
I do think black can work on some cars as the softtop is black.
I have seen a pic of a white z4 with a white hardtop but the central section was black. I quite liked the look of that, it looked like a track race car. Probably not for everyone though with the black wheels as well.

I agree, I'm defo going white roof!! Although..... I'm honestly tempted to get 2 roofs as I'm unsure of what colour to go
