Hmm not sure whether to offer my services??

ive been a keen detailer for more than a few years and have spent a stupid amount on products. i also have my own Rotary polisher and use the Full 3M polish and pad ranges. also have more than a few AG products including the Roof cleaning kit.

I'm sure i could share my skills if a few beer tokens where exchanged? Thought this might be good for someone wanting their nice Z looking amazing for the summer.

Live in Halifax West Yorkshire, but could travel a little

im planning to get a das-6 pro in a few weeks or when the weather gets nice again. what cutting compond is good on the zeds paint as i belive its classed as hard and some compounds arnt machine friendly??

hmm you should be able to get some good correction with a DA but its going to take a long time and a lot of work for something that can be done very quickly with a rotary. try looking on cleanyourcar.co.uk there is lots of help and advise on there ;-)

give me a shout if you need anything!

Yes I've got the DA kit, never used it as once bought, everyone said, whoa that's still gonna take you ages with that. So my baby is in for a pro detail and correction, and I'll use the DA to keep her nice after that.

had a quick go with my DAS pro over the weekend, inbetween rain showers!!!

I have some hex logic pads (I used white and black), I got good results on the areas I managed to get done using megs 105 followed by 205 polish, which are very popular, removed most swirls using both products.

I also tried megs ultimat compound with the white hex pad, and it worked just as well as the 105/205 combo.

waxed the finished areas with collinite 845, brilliant stuff!

all swirls seemed to be removed easily, although this was a bit of a practice session.
