Various Problems...

Folks,

Abit gutted really.. Had the car for not even three months and it will already be in for the second time. First problem was condention on the left hand side fog light. Went in, all OK. However, it appears that everytime I stick the car into reverse it "beeps" continuously for around four / five seconds then fails completely.
So, now I am finding problems putting the car into first / second gear.. Has anyone ever had these problems? Seems to happen when I pull away from being in neutral. I thought spending a good amount of money on a good car which would be reliable, clearly not

Sorry to hear of your problems - you don't say if your car is new or secondhand, age etc.

EXACTLY - throw it back to the dealers, detailing the issues and say you dont want it back until ALL resolved

They don't sound like big enough problems to get upset about, just normal teething issues.

I'm taking my daughter and her Cooper S to the dealers today to meet the dealer manager. 16 days in the workshop in the last 12 months in a now never ending stram af failures. You can whistle and the gearbox gets itself out the car. Drives like a tractor now and has totally ruined the ownership experience. All that on an '07 car. That's when it's time to get upset.
