Thought id share some of my problems with ownihng the zed...
First roof stop working just unlatched and as discussed the various posts seems to be the motor, BMW replacing under warranty.
The CD changer also got jammed and stopped ejecting and reading, BMW replacing under warranty.
Noise from the rear... was told broken spring which they are replacing under warranty
Also have advised there is a clip missing from the calliper which could be due to non bmw brake pads.. £200 to rectify with new brake pads.
Front brake arm bushes worn... unable to cover under warranty £300.
Oil sensor faulty..replaced under warranty.
So basically although some costs still to incurr the major expenses are covered by the warranty which i have to say has been generally hassle free and well worth having.
The brake pads and bushes costs seems excessive and would be cheaper from a indie but to keep the records up to date and to help any future claims thought better let the stealers earn some £££.
